MicroSeed Is The invention We Wanted.
We designed and built MicroSeed because we wanted a small, discreet, but durable seed phrase backup that didn’t require buying a bunch of proprietary stuff. When we couldn’t find that, we decided to make it. When we made it, we discovered a lot of other people wanted one too.
Our mission at MicroSeed is simple: Encourage and promote Bitcoin self-custody and node operation. We believe that if Bitcoin remains decentralized and secure it will change the world for the better, so that’s what we’re focused on…keeping it decentralized and secure. We just happen to be starting with the self-custody part.
Who doesn’t want to teach themselves CAD, mechanical engineering, machine tolerance standards, international supply chain logistics and manufacturing? We sure do!
Turns out engineering a micro metal stamping kit takes more than a couple beers over a weekend with a 3D printer. Proof of work, or proof of stubborn? Jury’s still out on that one. 😉
