Stainless MicroSeed Vault

The MicroSeed Stainless Seed Vault is a custom machined washer container, made from a solid piece of forged, 316 Stainless Steel bar stock. Designed for long term storage, the Vault holds up to 30 washers. With 5mm thick walls, this thing is a tank!

• Corrosion Resistance: Provides strong longevity (10-50+ years before minor issues) in chloride-rich coastal marine atmospheres or buried soils, outperforming standard materials. Suitable for outdoor or underground use with minimal maintenance.
• Fire Resistance: Endures typical house or commercial fires up to 900°C for >60 minutes without melting or catastrophic failure. Will maintain integrity even during extended exposure.
• Crush Resistance: Supports up to 10 tons (axial) under normal conditions, easily handling common house or building collapse scenarios.
• Versatile for Aggressive Environments: In a worst-case 90-minute fire collapse, it will withstand uncommon debris loads (20-50 kN impacts) and 2.5 tons (axial) compression, ensuring contents stay secure even in unlikely scenarios.
• Engineered Design: Stainless construction and fatigue-resistant thread top protects against damage and degradation in demanding settings.
